Neighbors Who Know Each Other Rarely Need Help From Afar.

Since 2014, Simpul Warga has looked after four simple things: residents' health, education, environment, and economy — run by residents, for residents, without waiting for programs to arrive from outside.

A Short Journey

Four Turning Points in Our Journey

2014

Born From a Neighborhood Savings Circle

It started when part of the neighborhood savings circle funds was set aside for a shared health fund.

2018

Officially Incorporated

Registered as a community organization so we could receive aid and partner formally with the village government.

2021

First Waste Bank Opens

The environment program was born from residents' concern over garbage piling up in the drainage channels.

2024

Reaching 35 Neighborhoods

From a single neighborhood unit, our programs now run regularly in 35 neighborhoods across the district.
